Lake Mary:

Jorge Fernandez-Silva, M.D.

Jorge Fernandez-Silva is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with Subspecialty Certification in Pain Medicine. Dr. Fernandez-Silva was born and raised in Miami, FL, and attended Florida International University. Upon graduation, he moved to Chicago where he studied at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He subsequently spent a year there completing an internship in General Surgery. This was followed by a move to Syracuse, NY, where Dr. Fernandez-Silva completed training in Anesthesia and Pain Medicine at the SUNY Upstate Department of Anesthesia. During his time there, he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Fernandez-Silva has spent time in private practice serving the South Florida area. He is bilingual in English and Spanish and prides himself in offering all forms of pain care.


Michael Creamer, D.O.

Michael Creamer is Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a sub-specialty certificate in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine and Pain Management. Dr. Creamer earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1983, and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern University. The goal of a physiatrist (a physician who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation) is to maximize function by relieving pain and minimizing the social, psychological and vocational effects that may accompany physical impairments.

LaMisa Rayside, ARNP-BC

LaMisa Rayside is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in Acute Care, utilizing a holistic pain management approach encompassing mind, body and spirit. She graduated from Florida A & M in 2000 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.
She received her Graduate degree as a Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Florida in 2009.

Prior to working for Central Florida Pain Relief Centers, she gained nursing experience in various specialties including critical care, pulmonary care and emergency medicine. LaMisa is a Florida native, born in Rockledge, and has resided in Orlando since 2011. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 sons.

Charito Alley, PA-C

Charito Alley is a nationally certified Physician Assistant licensed in the state of Florida. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the Florida International University and earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida. Prior to joining Orlando Pain Relief Center, Charito has worked 13 years as an Occupational Therapist in various settings and specialties including Orthopedics and Neurology. Charito is dedicated and motivated to improve a patient’s quality of life and believes they need to live a healthy and active lifestyle in order to reduce pain and improve function. In addition to medical intervention, pain can be managed with practicing wellness, which increases activity tolerance and returns individuals to activities that they enjoy.

Downtown & Altamonte Springs:

Nilusha Fernando, D.O.

Nilusha Fernando is a fellowship trained, interventional pain physician who is double board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as the subspecialty of Pain Medicine.

Dr. Fernando grew up in southwest Florida and completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University. She subsequently attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Temple University Hospital. She also completed extensive fellowship training in interventional spine procedures at Temple University Hospital.

Dr. Fernando’s primary goal as a physician is to provide optimal relief and improved quality of life for her patients by utilizing a wide range of balanced treatment options.

Altamonte Springs:

Robert Kent, D.O.

Dr. Robert Kent is a Board Certified PM&R and Pain Management physician. Dr Kent was born and raised in the Tampa, FL and attended Stetson University where he received his Bachelor of Science. After graduation, he went to Des Moines University were he received his Doctor of Osteopathy, as well as his Masters of Healthcare Administration and Masters of Public Health.

He then returned to the Tampa area to complete an internship at St. Pete General Hospital. His residency was at James A. Haley VA hospital – USF Health and his fellowship was at Larkin Community Hospital – Nova Southeastern University.

With his extensive training, he uses the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies and treatments to provide state of the art care. Dr Kent is widely published in current textbooks and peer reviewed journals.

Dr Kent is a die-hard Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan and a loving husband and father of two. He believes in a patient centered approach to medicine and is above all, a patient advocate.

Brandie Silinsky, MS, ARNP-BC

Brandie Silinsky is Board Certified in Adult Primary Care as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wilmington College in Wilmington, Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She graduated with her Master of Science at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Brandie has over 13 years of previous acute care nursing experience in various specialties including cardiovascular and orthopedics. Brandie has been an ARNP practicing in pain management since 2009.

Brandie Silinsky is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nurses and Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Society.

Brandie is committed to providing compassionate care with individualized comprehensive treatment plans for her patients, utilizing various treatment modalities with the goal to optimize function and improve quality of life.


Carlos J. Placer Carlos J. Placer, M.D.

Carlos J. Placer is board certified in pain management, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and has a sub-speciality in spine and sports medicine. He offers a full range of physical services, such as pain management, electro diagnostic studies, prolotherapy for spine injury, epidural injections, facet blocks, Botox injections, radio frequency and spinal cord stimulators. Dr Placer completed his medical education at the Universidad Central Del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He completed his residency at the University of Puerto Rico and his fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. Dr Placer is affiliated with University of Florida, Shands. Dr Placer is committed to the excellence of his practice. He has a keen interest in spine and sports medicine, since he participates in sports himself. Dr Placer is a long time resident of the Orlando and Central Florida area, where he resides with his wife and three children.
